With over 20 years of experience in hospitality and events Heidi brings a wealth of knowledge and  passion to each and every event . With vast experience in private, wedding and corporate events  Heidi will ensure your event runs seamlessly taking care of all the little details allowing for a  picture perfect event. 

With an eye for detail Heidi enjoys creating personalised events from planning , coordinating and  styling. With a very hands on approach Heidi can be found building our backdrops, running to the  flower markets, creating beautiful fresh floral arrangement, arranging a balloon masterpiece or  spending hours doing the laundry. As we all know not every element in events is glamorous.   

Being asked to be part of our clients special events is both a privilege and an honour. Watching  your event come to life truly is an magical experience. Seeing the smiles and laughter on our  clients faces both young and old is the reason I do what I do and I honestly couldn’t imagine a  better job in the world. 

Rochana has been in the events industry since she was 17. Back then, however, she was a DJ. As a DJ. Rochana saw the final result of hundreds of events and during the crazy times of 2020 the DJ gigs were non existent so she turned her attention to the production of events.

Rochana loves a challenge and to see ideas come to life. She prides herself on making each and every client feel loved and ensure that none of our events are identical. Rochana is always trying to create events that are unique and an affordable experience too.

Rochana is often the person you speak to through our social media or emails but will also be onsite to help coordinate our events. Very hands on. Rochana’s son builds our light up cocktail tables, which are one of a kind and came from.

Evelyn Events was born when Heidi reached out to Rochana to collaborate for a wedding. Both Heidi and Rochana discussed the same vision for their respective businesses while at this event. Following this Rochana asked Heidi to collaborate for a charity event. It was then they decided to join forces and create a small business that offered personalised service for larger events, festivals and weddings.

This venture has made way for some amazing events we are proud to have been part of. Enzo’s Cucina in Camden Bell Tent Dining, Crookwell Country Music Festival and Chill Fest Campbelltown Igloo Dining.

Each of our events are unique and you have the ability to have a little or as much input into the designing of your celebration. We offer top quality backdrops (often custom made), bell tents, unique cocktail pallet tables and bars that lights up, low-lying picnic settings. We also offer all the trimmings such as balloons, florals (fresh or artificial), decor, styling, disposable party supplies or ceramic plates & glassware. We have fairy lights, table decorations, neon signs, par can lights and the list goes on.

We are a small business who offer affordable rates to give you the opportunity to make memories with your family and friends. We wouldn’t be able to do it all without our wonderful team of staff – Ruth, Kris, Alexander, Angus, Kyella, Jess, Zoe & Bailey (youngest member of Rochana’s family who often likes to help out on big set ups).
